This Avro Lancaster makes a solo flight over the English coast. My aim was to show the aircraft against a light sky background thus enabling a stark contrast and fine details on the principal subject. I have painted many commissions over the years for the Lancaster,Spitfire and Hurricane often with specific squadrons for people whose relatives flew in such planes in defense of freedom.Please email for a commission of any aircraft.
