Udo Juergens just passed away, on the 21th of December 2014. I have felt an immense sadness, as he was a constant figure of the music world while I live in Germany from 197 to 2005.
Until his death at age 80 he continued to fill concert venues in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

I saw a documentary about him on German TV, and this is where I saw this scene, him playing piano and singing on top of the Alps. I thought this would be the best homage I could render him: Udo all in white and so close to the sky...
