Half timbered cottages in the village of Checkendon in Oxfordshire, England. This village lies At the start of the Chiltern Hills as they rise on the north side of the River Thames. Many of the houses here are wooden framed with brick infill. These cottages line the road through Checkendon as it winds its way from Woodcote to Stoke Row. Opposite is the village green and the parish church.
