Description:

Painting made only for fun. The skin textures of an old black man as reference was a chalenge for me; I enjoy this kind of woks, with a lot of traces and touches of brush. All the picture has been painted with standard brushes (Did I tell you that I hate texture brushes...?). The skin is treated in a base layer and the shines and volumes are painted in another layer above, like the facial hair. Each horn is composed in three parts, one for each tract. I wanted to emphasize the volume of the head using a blur effect in some areas with biggest brushes. This way, I obtain more attention over the eyes and intense sight of the model.
