This is a magical forest with a quiet landscape. Here the beech trees and massive rocks had learned how to live together many thousands of years ago. The forest is located in the province of Girona, in Catalonia; and it’s also a place with many legends.

One of these legends tells how each time a demon who lived here were upset, he grabbed one of the rocks and pushed it down the hill direct to the houses of ‘Sant Feliu de Pallerols’. The villagers were tired to bear the situation; they prayed to God; God send an angel; and the angel strongly chained all the rocks. After that, the devil was terrible bored and decided to find a new way to bother more people in another place.
