Description:

Oil painting of bush veld trees early in the morning. Impasto brushstrokes and usage of beeswax for texture. Yellow, ocker, red, burned sianna and orange is a strong theme in the painting. Trees are bare clothes in winter. The warmth of the sky and the movement of the brush stokes give a feel of fire as the sun comes up.
