Mehr als vier Wochen brauchte er um den Himmel und das Flugzeug halbwegs realistisch zu malen. Als er fertig war, nahm er den Spachtel, warf Farbe auf das Bild und zerstörte das Flugzeug. Es war ihm gleichgültig. Die Gleichgültigkeit ist das Achselzucken, mit dem die Zeit unsere Versuche quittiert, unsere Opfer entwertet und unsere Auflehnung zweifelhaft erscheinen lässt…
It took more than four weeks to paint the sky and the plane in a realistic manner. When he was ready, he took the sanding surfacer threw colour on it and destroyed the plane. He couldn’t care less. The casualness is the shrug, of which the time receipts our trys, devaluates our sacrifices, makes our ingurcency dubios….
