Description:

The lovely seaside village of Staithes, in North Yorkshire, England. Pictured here are, clusters of tall houses and cottages, the gorge with the stream Roxby Beck running through it and spanned by a footbridge, and the harbour which is protected by headlands on both sides and by two long breakwaters.

I've read that the village has changed very little since the time of the explorer, Captain James Cook, in the mid 1700s.
