Das Bild gehört zu der Serie "Spiegelbilder" - es ist eine ganz besonders interessante Technik. Das Besondere daran ist die absolute Raumpräsenz. Die Oberfläche ist 1 - 2 mm dick mit einem Kunstharz versiegelt und wirkt so wie eine Linse, die Farben erhalten eine sehr hohe Leuchtkraft. Das Bild spiegelt sich im Licht. Der ansonsten als lästig empfundene Spiegeleffekt von Glasbildern wird hier positiv genutzt.
