Watercolour and ink travel sketch painting in impressionist expressionist style of the Trattoria Mamma in Budapest in Hungary.
The mural on the left side of the painting with the Tuscany landscape and the blue sky and the gate was so well done that one hardly could see where reality ended and mural began. One really thought to go through a gate into Tuscany. This Trattoria is one of the most original Italian restaurants I have ever seen.!
Seen and painted during a painting trip to Budapest in October 2014.
