High in the Canadian Rockies, Lake Louise is a destination known the world over for its stunning mountain scenery. The color of Lake Louise is key to the setting; it is a beautiful shade of aqua blue, colored by microscopic particles that melt out of the glaciers above. For this photograph, I chose to emphasize the color of the water rather than show the traditional landscape showing the surrounding mountains.
