As you can see most of my paintings incorporate a Lab in some whimsical way. Living with three, they are a constant reminder not to take things to seriously. As I do all my painting outdoors, I am forever being interrupted by a juicy tennis ball in my lap and cold wet Lab nose poking my elbow. In spite of or because of all the help from my furry friends, I’ve had a continuous supply of inspiration and have been able to share with collectors all over the world. With my photographs I explore my everyday surroundings to reveal interesting and fun light, angles, and colors. I believe it all tells a story.
I have a background in mechanical engineering and computer programming, so sometimes I have to fight off the urge to be too technical and logical with my art. My passion for art probably began on a college field trip to the Guggenheim Museum in New York to see an Alexander Calder exhibit. Calder was also an engineer, so I believe that you can blend the two skills.
I hope that you enjoy my work.

Classically trained in art since childhood, I began working with a camera at age ten. My favorite subjects in drawing, painting, and photography evolved into landscape and portraits. I have also pursued architecture, nature, still life, events, animals, and a host of other subjects. After college, studying art, theatre, and mass media, my working life took off in many directions, but a camera was always within reach. My serious pursuit of photography started in the 1980's as I obtained my first clients in the real estate industry. I established Agency Photographics, then Ron Cline Photographics, and in the 1990's, RCLINEPhotography. The RCLINE, hand written in all capital letters has been my artist's signature since the 1960's. My photography became digitalized by 2006, and I have since concentrated in the portrait, corporate/industrial, and landscape/nature areas, and I have built a client base in each. I have been establishing an internet presence for marketing my work, one of the many advantages of the digital photography age. Thank you for visiting my profile and gallery.

Herzlich willkommen in meiner Galerie!

‘Keine Kunst ohne Trunkenheit. Dann aber: göttliche Trunkenheit! Die Vernunft möge verschwinden! Rausch!
